Social Listening - Bloom Nutrition

The company I selected was Bloom Nutrition LLP.  "A life-changing addition to my routine!" The owner of @bloomsupps is Mari Llewellyn. I came across her YouTube videos when I began my weight loss journey and was looking for tips and advice. She currently has 1.5M followers on her Instagram page and 139K followers on the Bloom Nutrition page.  Mari and her fiancĂ©, Greg, are both active on social media and appear to have a lot of support and even fans. What I find fascinating about this couple is that they gained a lot of popularity from transformation photos and were able to seemingly run with it and start a business.  There are a few benefits and values that I consider unique for this business. First, these products are coming from a fitness influencer who consistently posts on social media. I feel that this makes the experience way more personable. Mari's posts are always positive and I think there is a good mix between photos that don't feature products or merchan...

Marketing in the News - H&M

I came across an older article from 2019 regarding H&M’s transparency and whether or not consumers really care. This article really sparked my interest and I found that H&M has a history of keeping sustainability and eco-friendly processes in mind. H&M’s transparency may not make a huge difference in sales now, but consumers will remember their efforts in the long run. I happened to find another article about H&M from March of 2021 regarding customer loyalty and Covid. Moving forward, H&M group expects those loyal customers to help turn around their losses. I included the information from the older article above because I feel it ties into current events. The article H&M banks on customer loyalty to help turn around Covid losses (marketingweek.com) explained how the doors...

About Me: Jessica

Hello, my name is Jessica. This is my second year in college and it has not gone exactly as I expected it to. In March of 2020, right before the end of Winter term, the pandemic was announced and the schools closed. Studying from home has been challenging in some ways but I am managing. I am still trying to decide exactly what I will do with my degree but ultimately, I know that it will open more doors and opportunities for me in the long run. I am majoring in Business Administration and once I have met all my requirements I will decide if I want to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Principles of Marketing is a requirement for my degree and so far, I have found the material very interesting! I know that marketing is important, and I am most interested in learning about how decisions are made in this field. There has to be many things to consider when coming up with a marketing plan, and I look forward to learning about all of it! One thing I am passionate about outside of college is nutr...
